About Rekn

Rekn is a prediction-market venue built to show the whole machine. Event contracts price from 1–99¢ and redeem at $1.00 on the winning outcome; every price you see is the venue’s own engine quoting, every fill is matched server-side, and every cent of every account can be re-derived from an append-only event log — watch the books re-audit themselves any time you like.

What is simulated, precisely

The money is not real. Accounts open with $1,000 of demo funds; nothing can be deposited, withdrawn, or lost beyond the simulation. No trade here is a real position in any real market.

The prices are anchored to reality. Market catalogues, opening probabilities, volumes and daily re-anchors come from real, cited public sources (largely Polymarket’s live books — every market’s Rules tab cites its own). Between anchors, movement is a deterministic simulation, identical for every visitor.

The machinery is real. Order matching, the resting book, the house market-maker, settlement, the double-entry ledger and the event-log audit run exactly as they would with real money — that is the point of the venue.

Terms of the preview

  • This is a private technology preview, provided as-is, for evaluation. It is not an offer to trade, investment advice, or a regulated market of any kind.
  • Demo balances, positions and rankings carry no monetary value and may be reset as the preview evolves.
  • Market questions reference real events for realism; resolutions here are operator actions on simulated books, not determinations about the real world.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt the service or other users’ accounts. That’s it — be normal.

What we store

If you sign in: your email, a display name, a handle, and your simulated trading record (positions, ledger, working orders, and the event log that explains them). GitHub sign-in shares only your public profile and email. Nothing is sold, shared, or used beyond running the preview. Ask and it’s deleted.
