About Rekn
Rekn is a prediction-market venue built to show the whole machine. Event contracts price from 1–99¢ and redeem at $1.00 on the winning outcome; every price you see is a Rekn paper-market price, every member fill is matched server-side, and every paper-account movement is recorded as part of the preview.

- 1 · Prices are probabilities. 64¢ means the market says 64%. Buy the side you believe; contracts pay $1.00 if you’re right.
- 2 · Watch your paper order clear. Every accepted order runs the server pipeline on screen — risk check, sequencing, matching, position booking, and ledger posting.
- 3 · Paper markets resolve on the record. The operator posts an outcome and every paper holder is processed server-side — and a withdrawn result reverses the affected entries on the audit trail.
- 4 · Review your record. Positions, settlements, and cash movements remain visible on your profile throughout the preview.
What is simulated, precisely
The money is not real. Accounts open with a $1,000 paper bankroll; nothing can be deposited, withdrawn, or lost beyond the simulation. No trade here is a real position in any real market.
The source context is cited. Market catalogues and opening context can be anchored to public third-party market data; the applicable source is identified on each market. Rekn's displayed movement, volume, and executable paper ladder remain its own simulation, identical for every visitor.
The operational record is durable; the money rails are modelled. Admission, risk checks, sequencing, member-order matching, positions, ledger entries, resolutions, reversals, and the append-only event audit run on the server. The synthetic liquidity, collateral display, custody, bank funding, and exchange or chain adapters are not real-money infrastructure and must not be read as such.
Automated activity is labelled. Six Rekn-operated resident accounts — FOMO Sapiens, Wrong-Way Ray, Lottery Larry, Index Fund Andy, Doubting Thomas and Coin-Flip Colin — send paper orders through that same machinery. They can appear in rankings, holder lists and activity, always marked Automated. Modelled tape rows are generated preview activity, not member accounts or durable positions.
Data, prices and resolution
Each market shows its resolution rule and source links. Live catalogue context and opening probabilities are anchored to cited public market data; Rekn's displayed prices and paper fills are its own simulated venue mechanics.
A displayed percentage is an implied probability, not a forecast from Rekn and not a recommendation to take a position. When an outcome is settled, the operator records the basis on the market and the paper ledger keeps the resulting accounting trail.
Terms of the preview
- This is a private technology preview, provided as-is, for evaluation. It is not an offer to trade, investment advice, or a regulated market of any kind.
- Paper balances, positions and rankings carry no monetary value and may be reset as the preview evolves.
- Market questions reference real events for realism; resolutions here are operator actions on simulated books, not determinations about the real world.
- Do not interfere with the service, probe another member's account, automate abusive traffic, or attempt to bypass preview controls.
- Use Rekn's names, marks and market material only to evaluate the preview. Third-party names, logos and images identify their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.
- We may change, pause, remove or reset preview features, markets and paper balances as the product develops. If something looks inaccurate, flag it rather than treating it as a source of record.

What we store
If you sign in: your email, a display name, a handle, and your paper trading record (positions, ledger, working orders, and the event log that explains them). Your email is never shown. New beta members begin with public market positions and closed trades under their handle, and can make that record private at any time; Crews, cash ledger and journal remain private. Network addresses used for abuse controls are converted to keyed, pseudonymous digests before rate-limit records are stored. We do not sell personal data. Infrastructure and delivery providers process only what is needed to run the preview. There is not yet a self-service account-deletion control: access, correction and deletion requests are handled by the operator, while ledger, security and settlement records may need to be retained to preserve the preview's audit trail.
