What the Rekn private preview stores, why it is needed, what other members can see, and how to ask for a change.

Information Rekn handles
- Account information: email address, display name, handle, avatar, connected sign-in provider identifiers, password hash when you choose a password, preview invitation and access status.
- Paper-account records: bankroll, orders, fills, positions, ledger entries, settlements, reversals, alerts, watchlist, statements, and the event references needed to explain those records.
- Social and submitted content: follows, profile visibility choices, public paper positions or closed trades, Crew membership and wagers, comments, reactions, chat, journal entries, and support messages.
- Technical and security data: session records, timestamps, browser and device signals, service logs, and keyed pseudonymous network-address digests used for abuse prevention and rate limits.
- Market-guide requests: questions and limited conversation context sent to the configured model provider so Ask Rekn can answer from the current catalogue.
Why it is used
- To create and secure invited accounts, authenticate sessions, provide the paper venue, keep an accurate member ledger, deliver alerts and account emails, and support social features you choose to use.
- To prevent abuse, investigate failures, reconcile financial-style records, measure reliability, improve the preview, and communicate material service or security changes.
What other members can see
- Your email address is not public. Your handle, display name, avatar, and the public profile fields you enable may be visible to other preview members.
- New members begin with public paper positions and closed trades under their handle, and can make those sections private from Profile. Crews, cash ledger, security settings, invitations, and journal remain private unless a feature expressly says otherwise.
Service providers and disclosures
- Rekn uses hosted infrastructure, database, email, authentication, monitoring, and model providers to operate the preview. They process only the data needed for their service under their own security and contractual controls.
- Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect members or the service, to investigate misuse, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Rekn does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
- Account and preview data is kept while access is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Security, consent, ledger, settlement, and audit records may be retained longer where needed to preserve integrity, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
- There is not yet a self-service account-deletion control. Request access, correction, export, or deletion at hello@rekn.bet. Rekn will verify the requester and explain any records that cannot immediately be removed.
Security, location, and choices
- Rekn uses access controls, salted password hashing, private responses, rate limits, append-only audit protections, and separation between public and private projections. No system can guarantee absolute security.
- Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Available privacy rights depend on where you live. You can change profile visibility, notification preferences, connected sign-in methods, and other account choices within the product.
